Tuna Tuesday! The offshore fishing bite in the Gulf of Mexico remains very hot with a lot of different species to target. We have seen many pelagic species coming in close to shore the past few weeks catching tuna, cobia and small mahi mahi around the artificial reefs and areas of hard bottom. The Mangrove Snapper spawn is also in full effect seeing big numbers grouping up over ledges and rock piles. These fish can be targeted using light spinning outfits with chunks of sardines. Back inshore we have been catching lots of Spanish Mackerel, Tarpon and Sharks around the rock piles inside of Tampa Bay. Beach fishing for large breeder Snook and Trout has also been rewarding. Look for the action to remain strong through the end of the summer with the early mornings and late afternoons being the best times to fish. #YACHTFISH #saintpetersburg #fishingcharters #tampabay #summertime #kidswhofish #dtsp #thingstodostpetebeach #fishingguide #familytime #vacation
