No. Gratuity is customarily 20 percent of the charter price given to the Captain after the charter to disperse to his crew. Of course, a wonderful day had by all is the barometer for tipping percentages.
YACHTFISH provides everything required to catch fish, along with ice and water. We pre-fish for live bait before your arrival and have top of the line equipment. All licenses are covered. We will clean and ice your fish if you want to take it home.
Up to 6 Guests. Accommodations can be made for larger groups in multiple boats.
Yes. $150.00 is required for tarpon fishing.
Yes, a 10 day notice is required prior to your reservation date.
The Captain will reschedule your charter or refund the deposit in full if he foresees unsafe conditions.
There are 4, 6 or 8 hour charters for inshore and 6 or 8 hour charters for offshore. Your Captain will advise you where and when to meet prior to the trip. Tides, time of year and fish targeted will have a bearing on the exact location and departure time. Departure in the morning is usually between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Afternoon half day charters leave around 1:00 p.m.
There are fabulous places for lunch when fishing inshore. If this interests you, please make sure to request this when making your reservation.
Yes, we are glad to help. We know the area quite well.
YACHTFISH will advise you prior to your trip what type of clothing to bring depending on the weather. Food, beverages, camera and a hat are the basics.
Yes, but no glass on the boat and everything must be legal.
Absolutely! We encourage it. What a great way to spend quality time with the kids. Use your own judgement regarding length of trip and age.
If you are not sure if you get sea sick, ask your pharmacist for a recommendation just in case.
